The court accepted a demand of Manish Sisodia

At the same time, the court has accepted a demand of Manish Sisodia, lodged in Tihar Jail. In this, it was said by Sisodia that he should be allowed to release money from the MLA fund so that development works can be done in his area. The CBI also did not oppose Sisodia’s plea as he is a representative of the people. There should be no hindrance in the development work in his area, so the CBI did not oppose his petition. After this, the court has directed them to release the funds.

Kejriwal tweeted

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal tweeted that we all are proud of Manish Sisodia. Even while in jail, he is very concerned about the people of Delhi and his constituency. Today he sought permission from Delhi’s Rouse Avenue Court whether he can sanction work from his MLA fund for the development of the people of his area. After this the court gave him permission.

AAP leader Sisodia has this allegation

There are allegations against Aam Aadmi Party leader Manish Sisodia that when he was the Excise Minister, he made such policies that only a few liquor traders benefited from them. The CBI and ED alleged that AAP leaders had taken kickbacks from liquor traders by taking illegal advantage. On the other hand, the Aam Aadmi Party has been rejecting these allegations outright. The party claims that Manish Sisodia is being implicated in a false case to stop the good work being done in Delhi.
