CBI’s interrogation of Delhi’s Deputy CM Manish Sisodia is going on in the liquor scam case. Manish Sisodia said that CBI can arrest me today. CM Kejriwal encouraged Sisodia and said that the love of Delhiites is with you. Sisodia has been consistently denying the allegation leveled against him. Sisodia told Kejriwal that it doesn’t matter even if I go to jail, you will continue to serve this country. Along with this he said that if I go to jail then my wife will be left alone, but still I am not afraid.
On one hand CBI’s questioning of Sisodia and on the other hand Aam Aadmi Party’s protest is going on. AAP is constantly taunting BJP regarding the liquor scam case that it is a ploy of the opposition. BJP is deliberately sending AAP leaders to jail one by one. AAP is continuously seen protesting against CBI action. Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh was also present at AAP’s demonstration. Delhi Police has also taken Sanjay Singh into custody. The police took Sanjay Singh away.
More than 50 AAP workers in police custody
Hundreds of AAP workers and leaders are protesting against the central government by sitting on the road at some distance from the CBI headquarters. A large number of Delhi Police forces are present on the spot to remove the demonstration being carried out by AAP. Section 144 has been imposed in the area. The police are constantly trying to end the protest. Police has taken into custody more than 50 AAP workers and leaders. The police have also taken into custody several senior AAP leaders, including Rajya Sabha MPs Sanjay Singh, Saurabh Bhardwaj and Gopal Rai, besides several MLAs. Saurabh Bhardwaj said that very difficult days are ahead for AAP. But we are not going to bow down. Whatever efforts the BJP has to make, our struggle will continue like this.
