CBI sent notice to Manish Sisodia, will be questioned on 26, know what is the matter

The CBI has once again sent a notice to Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia in the Excise Policy case. This information has been given by Manish Sisodia himself. He said today on Monday that the CBI has again called for questioning on 26 February. Manish Sisodia said that I will go for questioning.

Earlier Manish Sisodia was called by the CBI on Sunday i.e. 19 February, but Manish Sisodia requested the CBI to give more time to finalize the budget. After this the CBI accepted his request and has now issued a notice to him regarding the new date.

Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia had said on Sunday that a notice had been received from the CBI in the excise policy matter. He wants to interrogate me. Sisodia said that it is the last week of February and it is a very important time for me. Because the annual budget of Delhi is being prepared, which is in the final stage. He had said that I have sought time from the CBI till the end of February so that the budget can be finalised. After this, whenever they want to call, I will answer all their questions related to excise policy.

Explain that a CBI inquiry into the Excise Policy 2021-2022 case was recommended by Delhi’s Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena. After this, the CBI raided several states including the house of Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia regarding this matter. The CBI had also searched Manish Sisodia’s bank locker in August last year.
