Big news is coming out from the capital Delhi. Delhi Public School on Mathura Road here has received a bomb threat through an e-mail. Police said after preliminary investigation that no suspicious object or bomb was found from the school premises.

According to the police, around 8.10 am, they received a call about a bomb threat from the school authorities, following which a police team reached the spot. As soon as the information was received, there was a stir in the campus and the parents reached the school to get their children out of the school premises.

DCP South East Rajesh Dev, who reached Mathura Road, said, no suspicious object has been found in the school premises so far. In such a situation, there is no danger at the moment, the situation is normal. Bomb Disposal Squad, Dog Squad and SWAT team are sanitizing the school buildings.

A similar issue came to the fore a few days back as well.

Giving information, the police said that a similar case had also come to the fore on April 12. In this, a school in Delhi’s Defense Colony was evacuated after an e-mail said that there were bombs on the campus. The bomb squad and other agencies inspected the school for explosives, but found nothing. A senior police officer in that case said that a person named Brijesh of Indian School, BRT Road informed them about the email.
