Two days national mourning declared on the death of Prakash Singh Badal.
News2News.in News. Sirsa. There is a wave of mourning in Sirsa also due to the demise of former Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal. Prakash Singh Badal has a deep connection with Sirsa. His childhood was spent in Dabwali and his early studies were also done in Dabwali. Badal also has a farm house in village Balasar in the district and used to visit here often.
After the Shiromani Akali Dal came to power in Punjab, Badal stayed at Balasar Farm House for most of the time. Not only this, he has been participating in the happiness and sorrow of Sirsa district. Recently, Digvijay Chautala, the younger brother of Deputy Chief Minister Dushyant Chautala, was the head of the local Gurdwara Management Committee in Sahuwala village and also attended the wedding of the niece of Sardar Prakash Singh Sahuwala, a member of the Haryana Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee.

Remember that former Deputy Prime Minister Ch. Devilal and Sardar Badal studied in the same school in Dabwali and it was from here that both of them became friends which later turned into family ties. Former CM Parkash Singh Badal’s farm house is built in Balasar of Raniya. Often the clouds kept coming here. Various political, social and educational institutions of Sirsa have also condoled the death of Badal.
