News2News.in News. Sirsa. There is a wave of mourning in Sirsa also due to the demise of former Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal. Prakash Singh Badal has a deep connection with Sirsa. His childhood was spent in Dabwali and his early studies were also done in Dabwali. Badal also has a farm house in village Balasar in the district and used to visit here often.

After the Shiromani Akali Dal came to power in Punjab, Badal stayed at Balasar Farm House for most of the time. Not only this, he has been participating in the happiness and sorrow of Sirsa district. Recently, Digvijay Chautala, the younger brother of Deputy Chief Minister Dushyant Chautala, was the head of the local Gurdwara Management Committee in Sahuwala village and also attended the wedding of the niece of Sardar Prakash Singh Sahuwala, a member of the Haryana Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee.

Various political, social and educational institutions of Sirsa have also condoled the death of Badal.
