The cases of corona infection are continuously increasing in the country. There has been an increase in the daily cases of Covid-19 on the last day also. The Union Health Ministry said on Wednesday that 9,629 new cases of infection have been registered in India in the last 24 hours. With the new cases, the total number of active cases in the country has gone up to 61,013. In the last 24 hours, 11,967 patients have been cured of corona. The number of people recovering from Kovid virus has reached 4,43,23,045.
The death toll rose to 5,31,398 with 29 deaths in the last 24 hours, according to Health Ministry data. Six deaths were reported in Delhi, three each in Maharashtra and Rajasthan, two each in Haryana and Uttar Pradesh and one each in Odisha, Gujarat and Chhattisgarh. Kerala has the highest number of nine deaths. The recovery rate in the country is 98.68%, while the death rate is around 1.18%. India recorded 6,660 new Covid-19 cases on 25 April. On the previous day, the country registered 7,178 new cases of infection. On 23 April, 10,112 cases of the virus were reported.
More than thousand new cases in Delhi
Delhi last day Corona 1,095 positive cases have been reported. There are 400 more cases than the previous day. The capital’s health department said in its bulletin that six deaths were recorded, while the daily positivity rate reached 22.74%. 722 new cases of Kovid have been reported in Maharashtra.
