Covid-19 Update: The cases of Coronavirus are continuously increasing in the country. According to the data updated on Thursday by the Union Health Ministry, 9,355 new coronavirus infection cases have been reported in India. However, the good thing is that there has been a decline in new corona cases as compared to the previous day. At the same time, now active cases in the country have come down from 61013 to 57410.
Even though there is a decline in new cases of corona, but the death toll is increasing rapidly. In the last 24 hours, 26 patients have died, after which the death toll has increased to 5,31,424. At the same time, the daily positivity rate has been recorded at 5.38 percent and the weekly positivity rate at 5.61 percent. About 4.49 crore patients have been cured of the infection.
The ministry said that active cases now comprise 0.13 per cent of the total infections, while the national COVID-19 recovery rate has been recorded at 98.69 per cent. The number of people recovering from the disease increased to 44,335,977, while the death rate was recorded at 1.18 percent. Under the nationwide vaccination campaign, 220.66 crore doses of Kovid vaccine have been given so far in the country.
Corona cases in the capital Delhi
Delhi has reported seven deaths due to Kovid-19 on Wednesday. A total of 1,040 new cases were registered in the last 24 hours. The corona pandemic is increasing its grip in the national capital. According to the health bulletin, a total of 4,915 samples were tested for coronavirus in the last 24 hours. Delhi recorded over 1,000 cases for the second consecutive day, taking the positivity rate to 21.16 per cent on Wednesday.
