UP STF has got a big success in Umesh Pal murder case. The STF has arrested Atiq Ahmed’s absconding son Mohammad Asad and accused Qayum Ansari, who sheltered the shooters, from Nepal. The accused had helped Mohammad Asad and other accused involved in the massacre to cross the border of Nepal as well as provided shelter to them. The accused Kayum is a resident of Chandrota, Kapilvastu district of Nepal. He has made many important revelations.
According to media reports, UP STF has arrested Kayum from his own petrol pump Ansari Diesels in Chandrota. STF got a clue of Qayoom’s presence. STF launched a campaign to nab him and arrested him from the spot. If sources are to be believed, Kayum Ansari was kept at Bardpur police station in Siddharthnagar district of UP. After questioning there for some time, he has been shifted to many other places.
Yesterday Atiq’s accomplice Waheed had an encounter
UP police is continuously seen in action in Umesh Pal murder case. Yesterday also the UP police had injured Waheed Ahmed, the jailed accomplice of Atiq Ahmed, in an encounter. There was an encounter between Waheed police, a scumbag carrying a reward of Rs 50,000. During this, Waheed was shot in the leg, due to which he was injured. He was later admitted to the hospital for treatment. On the other hand, bulldozer action was also taken on the illegal house of Mohammad Athar, a history-sheeter who was in contact with Atiq.
