Prayagraj police and STF team nabbed Sudhanshu alias Balli Pandit, who was earlier seen with Shaista Parveen, wife of Mafia Atiq before the Umesh Pal murder case, from Karbala. Pandit’s meeting with Atiq’s wife was caught on CCTV cameras five days before the murder. A clip of this is spreading fast on social media.

The police arrested Balli and are trying to find out why Shaista Parveen came to him before Umesh Pal was killed. Prayagraj police is probing several aspects of Balli’s role in the murder. Balli is considered very close to Pandit Atiq Ahmed and has been working for his gang for a long time.

Five days before the murder of Umesh Pal, Shaista Parveen had met the absconding prize shooter Sabir. After this the police have registered a case against Shaista Parveen. Shaista Parveen had gone to meet shooter Sabir at the house of Balli alias Sudhanshu, who is associated with Atiq Ahmed’s gang.
During this meeting, she was captured in the CCTV camera installed there. Shooter Sabir fired at Umesh Pal and both the constables present with him with a licensed gun. After this, the police had increased the reward amount on all those people from Rs 50 thousand to Rs 2.5 lakh. Prayagraj police has already done an encounter of two shooters in this case. The rest of the accused could not be traced. These include Asad Ahmed, the third son of Atiq Ahmed. According to media reports, he has fled to Nepal.
