Actually, Dr. Gurpreet Kaur was admitted to Fortis Hospital in Mohali on Wednesday when labor pain started. Mann reached the hospital on Thursday morning and left from there around 12.15 pm. Bhagwant Mann was sworn in as the Chief Minister of Punjab on March 16, 2022. Four months later, Mann married Dr. Gurpreet Kaur in Chandigarh on July 6, 2022.

Bhagwant Mann becomes father for the third time
This is the third child of Bhagwant Mann. He has a son and a daughter from his previous marriage to Inderpreet Kaur. She divorced Inderpreet in 2015 and lives in the US with their children Sirat (23) and Dilshan (19).

During his Republic Day address in Ludhiana, Mann had revealed that his wife is pregnant and the child is expected to be born in March. Urging people not to get gender determination tests done, he had said that I am also expecting happiness in my home in March. My wife is seven months pregnant. We have deliberately decided not to conduct gender testing and will not do so in the future. I urge everyone to avoid such practices.
