Corruption Case:Former Finance Minister Manpreet Singh Badal, named by Vigilance in the plot scam case, is constantly changing his location due to fear of his arrest. Court issued arrest warrant

The court on Tuesday issued an arrest warrant against Manpreet Singh Badal in connection with alleged irregularities in the purchase of a plot in Bathinda. Earlier, the Vigilance Department team had issued a lookout circular against him. The Vigilance Department suspects that Badal is trying to go abroad. Let us tell you that anticipatory bail petition was also given in the court on behalf of Manpreet Badal. This matter is also to be heard in the court today.

Fraud case registered

The FIR was registered by the vigilance against Manpreet Badal and five others under sections of the law relating to cheating, forgery and criminal conspiracy and section 13 (1) of the Prevention of Corruption Act, besides the Information Technology Act, in the case related to the plot. The Vigilance team has been investigating against Manpreet Singh Badal for the last several months. Let us tell you that three people have already been arrested in this case.
