Bhopal. A newly married woman living in Gautam Nagar has filed a complaint against her father-in-law and her aunt for gang rape and assault on her husband. She has also accused the paralyzed mother-in-law of harassment. The police have registered the complaint of the victim and started investigation.
Station in-charge Zahari Khan said that the 21-year-old girl is originally from Gwalior. In February 2021, she was married to a person living in Gautam Nagar. The victim told the police that the husband used to get late from work at night. During this, her father-in-law found her alone and raped her. When she informed her father-in-law about her father-in-law’s act, she also raped her. Father-in-law and aunt had also thrashed her for complaining about her father-in-law to her husband. Distressed by the harassment of her in-laws, she went to her maternal home in Gwalior on April 5 last without informing her. There the relatives were told about the incident. The family took him to Murarji police station and lodged a complaint. The police have sent the case diary to the Gautam Nagar police after registering a case of gangrape, assault and threatening to kill in the said case. Further action is being taken by the Gautam Nagar Police.
