Identification of the deceased on the basis of viral photo on social media

Bhopal. On Tuesday morning, the police had recovered the dead body of a young man from Prabhat Chauraha located in Ashoka Garden police station area. Police made the deceased’s appearance viral on social media and the deceased was identified. The deceased is a resident of Barbanki in Uttar Pradesh and was living here on rent in Garamgaddha, Bajaria area. Police has handed over the body of the deceased to the family after PM.

Station in-charge Umesh Singh Chauhan said that around 11 am on Tuesday, information was received that the dead body of a young man was lying in the drain behind the magic stand at Prabhat Square. Police recovered the dead body and sent it to Machurri for PM. On search, a quarter was found kept with about four hundred rupees in cash and some liquor from the deceased. The police had made the photo and appearance of the deceased viral on social media. During this the deceased was identified by his father Jagnarayan Yadav. Jagnarayan Yadav told the police that he is basically a resident of Barabanki, Uttar Pradesh. His son was Dinesh Kumar Yadav (30). Jaganarayan was living on rent in Garamgaddha Bajaria along with son Dinesh and two other youths. Due to Holi, he went to UP on March 5, whereas both the friends had gone to UP on February 28 itself. Dinesh was working in a hotel located on Eighty Feet Road. He was addicted to alcohol and had not gone to work since March 5. Some people said that he had been drinking heavily since March 5. It is estimated that he must have fallen into the drain from the footpath under the influence of alcohol.
