Old dead body of student found hanging on the noose

Bhopal. Sensation spread after the dead body of a student was found in a closed room on Friday afternoon in Kaveri Colony located in Kolar police station area. On information, the police broke open the door and sent the dead body to the PM. Being about four days old, the corpse was badly decomposed. Police informed the relatives living in Bhopal about the incident and handed over the dead body to them after the PM.

SI Ravindra Chowkle told that Shubham Sharma’s father Rajesh Sharma (23) was originally from Bihar and was living here on Kaveri Colony JK Road with a rented room. He was studying in Patel College of Engineering. Shubham used to go out to eat food. The acquaintance with whom he used to eat told the police that he last met Shubham on April 3. Since then he was neither receiving calls nor replying to messages. After this, social worker Vishal Pathak was informed about the incident. When Vishal Pathak reached outside the student’s room, the room was locked from inside and there was an unbearable stench. When the police broke open the door, Shubham’s body was found hanging on the noose with the help of a nylon rope.

The deceased was struggling with financial crisis

Shubham’s father is a Babu in Bihar Court. Here Shubham’s uncle lives in Bhanpur Chhola, Bhopal and maternal grandfather lives in Misrod. He was informed about the incident. They had also reached the spot. He refused to identify the dead body as it was old. However, it was later identified. No suicide note has been found from Shubham’s room. Shubham’s friend told that he used to come to his shop to eat food. A few days back, Shubham had also taken Rs 4,000 from him for rent.
