A delegation of citizens of Samain village met with State Development and Panchayat Minister Devendra Singh Babli at his Bidhaikheda residence on Friday to discuss demands for the village’s development works. In the delegation, the villagers presented a letter of demand to the Cabinet Minister regarding the incomplete development work.

Cabinet Minister Devendra Singh Babli assured members of the Monitoring Committee that whatever the letter of demand for the development of the village, efforts will be made to complete all works soon. The cabinet minister told the citizen that work is ongoing on the development of the Tohana Assembly constituency. He said that the village and dignitaries, whether they are from any organization, whether they are retired officers and employees, Panch-Sapanch or social workers, should form supervisory committees and ensure quality completion of development work. The cabinet minister said that the Samain village delegation met to complete the incomplete development work in the villages, and welcomed the citizens’ thinking for the village’s development.

He said that Samain village has long had a drinking water problem, it will be completed very soon at a cost of Rs 17 crore so that clean water can reach every household. He said that if ordinary citizens are aware of their rights, citizens will receive 100 percent and quality benefits from the state government’s public welfare systems.

He said that some politicians are trying to stop village development work because of their selfishness, so if an ordinary citizen works for village development, it will be good for common people and village development. He said the state government is selflessly committed to providing citizens with basic amenities in every household.
