In the village of Banmandauri, a woman who had come to prepare roti died after being hit by a bullet fired at the village sarpanch’s brother-in-law’s wedding. After the incident, the whole village was in an uproar. People immediately took the injured woman to the hospital for a gunshot wound, but by then she had died. As soon as the information was received, the Bhattu Kalan Police Team also arrived at the place and took the body of the deceased and sent it to the Civil Hospital in Fatehabad for autopsy.

According to the information received, the Sarpanch of Banmandauri village, Rajni Devi’s brother-in-law, was married. When the bride came home on Sunday morning, people danced with joy. Meanwhile, one person was holding a double-barrelled gun. Suddenly a ball erupted from it. Shyamo Devi, a resident of Swami Nagar, Fatehabad, who came to work there, was seriously injured when she was hit by a bullet. The woman was immediately taken to Fatehabad Hospital, where doctors pronounced her dead. After receiving the information, the woman’s relatives also reached the place. Immediately after receiving the information, the Bhattu Police Team also reached the civilian hospital.

SHO Shadi Ram says the woman has splinters on her back. The autopsy of the deceased will be carried out and further steps will be taken based on the testimonies of his family members. Following a complaint by the deceased’s son, Amit, police have registered a Section 304 and Arms Act charge of involuntary manslaughter other than murder against an individual named Balwan Singh.
