The municipal council’s deputy sanitation inspector was notified for failing to obey orders from the magistrate’s court to capture destitute animals in the city and bring them to the gaushalas. The ASI was ordered to appear in court on April 18.
Senior Advocate and Member of the Red Cross CSR Sub Committee Society in Haryana informed that a complaint regarding destitute animals in the city of Rewari was filed with the Court for Public Purposes, after which the court ordered the city’s destitute animals to be sent to a Gaushala or be sent a hare go and the council shall see to their fodder. The secretary of the municipal council did not follow the orders. In this regard, an Ejra was filed with the Court of Vineet Sapda Civil Judge to which the Honorable Court had attached the City Council’s vehicle. Rewari Municipal Council had appealed this decision to the Vimal Kumar District Magistrates’ Court, whereupon the court suspended the seizure of the vehicle. On November 11, 2022, Vijaypal’s Deputy Sanitation Inspector, acting on behalf of the City Council, had recorded his statement through his lawyer that the city’s destitute animals would soon be picked up and left in the cowshed, to then be filmed and handed over to the complainant Sunil Bhargava
contempt lawsuit filed
Sunil Bhargava said that a contempt case has been filed in the District Judge’s Court for failing to follow the orders of the Honorable District Judge Vimal Kumar. The court gave notice to the city council secretary and the deputy sanitation inspector. He must appear in court and give his answer.
