According to Hyundai, the Verna 2023 has received around 8000 bookings till the time of its launch. Of this, 41% of new Verna buyers are below 30 years of age. However, 20% of Creta buyers are below 30 years of age. The biggest difference between Verna and Creta customers is the customers under 30 years of age. 41% for Verna while, it is 20% for Creta. Hyundai Verna 2023 engine and mileage

The two engine options in the Hyundai Verna are 1.5-litre MPi petrol engine with 115PS of max power and 143.8Nm of peak torque and 1.5-litre turbo GDi petrol engine with 160PS of max power and 253Nm of peak torque. While the MPi petrol engine can be mated to a 6-speed MT or IVT automatic, the turbo GDi petrol engine gets 6-speed MT and 7-speed DCT options. The mileage of the Hyundai Verna is claimed to be 18.60kmpl for the 1.5 MPi MT variant, 19.60kmpl for the Verna 1.5 MPi IVT variant, 20kmpl for the 1.5 Turbo GDi MT variant and 20.60kmpl for the Turbo GDi DCT variant.

Hyundai Creta Engine and Transmission

The SUV car Hyundai Creta earlier had three engine options, now it has only two 1.5-litre MPi petrol with 115PS of max power and 143.8Nm of peak torque and 1.5-litre U2 CRDi diesel with 116PS of max power and 250Nm of peak torque. The MPi petrol engine can be mated to a 6-speed MT or IVT automatic, while the CRDi diesel engine gets 6-speed MT and 6-speed AT options.
