About two months ago, as she left her in-laws’ house and arrived in Palhawas with a young man from the same village, the case of a married woman in Bagthala created tension. The villagers are now accusing a young man who had a love affair with a married woman of molesting the woman and her family. A panchayat of two villages was held in Bagthala on Sunday, to which the accused youth did not go even after the call. After that, the villagers sat on a dharna in front of his house. A large number of police officers from Kasola Police Station have been dispatched to the village. The situation in the village was tense, but after a conversation between the villagers in the evening, the dispute calmed down. After that, the police administration breathed a sigh of relief.

A married woman had left her in-laws’ home in a village in Rajasthan about two months ago. The youth of the village, who allegedly had a love affair with her, had let her in his knowledge. The youth later lodged a complaint with the police, accusing the married woman’s father of assault. The married woman also accused her father of assault and death threats. As a result of the complaints made by the two, the Kasola police station initiated proceedings against the married woman’s father and arrested him. The villagers claim that the married woman is willing to go to her in-laws’ house, but this youth of the village prevents her from going to her in-laws’ house. This young man also constantly harasses his family members. Talks between the two sides began in the evening, after which police claimed to have reached an agreement between them. Despite this, the police remained on duty to keep the peace in the village.
