According to the information, on September 9, 2019, Diwan Chand of Tarawadi beat his wife Kartaro. During this time, 67-year-old Shanti Devi, Kartaro’s mother, came to intervene. The accused stabbed his mother-in-law Shanti Devi twice in the stomach and once in the head with an iron spear. As a result, she was seriously injured. After the attack, the defendant fled the scene. Who was arrested by the police the next day. The injured Shanti Devi died in the hospital on September 13. In this case, 17 witnesses were produced by the police. Who testified against Diwan Chand? Based on all the evidence, the accused Diwan Chand was sentenced to life imprisonment. A fine of Rs 25,000 was also imposed.
