In Yamunanagar, Haryana, a one-month-old child was murdered by his own mother by slitting her throat. This matter has only now come to light. The accused mother (Komal) said during police interrogation that her husband was not ready to accept the child as his own blood. In anger, he cut his own child’s throat with a blade.
However, when the child did not die even after that, he threw him on the ground, causing the child to die. After the child’s death, the mother tied his body in a bundle of cloth. The police arrested the accused mother and produced her before the court. The court sent the accused to a one-day remand.
Mother mentally weak
Sumit’s wife Komal, who lives in Shivpuri Colony, gave birth to a son on March 2. It is said that their child slept together on the night of April 1, but when they woke up in the morning, their son was not there. When Sumit asked his wife, she said that the child would be inside, but he could not find the child.
When the child was searched, he was found tied up in a bundle. The child’s mouth, nose and ears were stuffed with cotton wool and his throat was soaked with blood. It was clear that the innocent child had been murdered very brutally. There was an argument in the house about who killed the child. Sumit accused his wife and the woman accused her in-laws of the murder. Sumit said that the woman was mentally weak and killed the child. She would often lose her temper, become angry and start beating herself.
Autopsy confirmed murder
On the other hand, the child’s mother Komal said that she does not know how the child disappeared but she suspects that her in-laws and father-in-law made him disappear. He said that the mother-in-law did not get along with the father-in-law and he wanted to throw her out of the house. The surprising thing was that Komal neither protested against the burial of her child’s body nor informed the police. In fact, the child’s body was buried in the ground on April 3, after which the police received information about this incident. The police then removed the body and sent it for autopsy. Komal accused her mother-in-law and father-in-law of misleading the police, but based on the post-mortem report and facts, the accused mother was arrested.
The delivery took place in the eighth month
The Gandhi Nagar police tried to contact the child’s murderer for 10 days. The family and people nearby were interrogated. SHO Mahroof Ali said on Sunday that the child’s mother Komal was arrested for murder. After producing him before the court, he was remanded in custody for a day.
According to the SHO, Komal said during police interrogation that she was staying at her mother’s house in Adhoi when she became pregnant. When she came to her in-laws’ house and told about her pregnancy, her husband started doubting her. He has clearly stated that this child is not his. Afterwards, arguments broke out over every topic and her husband mocked her.
As a result, she began to become mentally disturbed. For this reason, the child was born on March 2nd in the 8th month itself. The child was weak due to the delivery in the eighth month and was therefore placed in the Nikku ward. On March 24, the child was discharged from the hospital and brought home. Sumit repeatedly refused to adopt the child.

Mother showed cruelty
Komal was mentally disturbed because Sumit did not adopt the child and tried to declare the child illegitimate. According to police, Komal was upset about this. On the night of April 1st, the child slept in the room with the man and the woman. Komal woke up in the middle of the night and slit her own child’s throat with a blade. Even after that, when the child did not die, he threw him on the ground and he died in agony. The mother then tied his body in a bundle of cloth and hid it.
