Gurugram: In a major initiative by the Government of India, Mera Bill Mera Adhikar Yojana was launched from Friday in three states of the country including Haryana, Assam, Gujarat and the three Union Territories of Puducherry, Dadra Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu in collaboration with the state governments . . He appealed to the members of the market association to bill consumers and get them excited about the program. Describing the launch of Mera Bill Mera Adhikar Yojana as a big day, he said that under this scheme, a draw will be conducted for the consumers who upload the bill through the mobile app or portal and under this monthly draw, Rs The monthly raffle will award 800 and 10,000 rupees respectively. Two prizes worth 10 lakh rupees will be awarded. The two winners of the quarterly drawing will each receive a prize of 1 crore rupees. The minimum value of an invoice to be considered for the prize draw is 200 rupees.

He said to get the reward, the GST bill collectors would have to upload the receipt for purchases etc on the Mera Bill Mera Adhikar app and portal. This gives consumers over 200 rupees bill the opportunity to win prizes up to 1 crore rupees. A consumer can upload 25 invoices per month. This system not only supports consumers but also increases tax revenue.
