Faridabad: A woman escaped after stealing a newborn baby from Badshah Khan Civil Hospital. The thief introduced herself as hospital staff and sent the child’s mother and mother-in-law to change. The thief was captured by the video surveillance system installed at the hospital. When the child was not found, the family members caused an uproar. After receiving information, the criminal investigation department and the local police began searching for the woman and child. There is panic among the hospital staff after the incident.

Sunil, a resident of Thanpur village in Barabanki district of Uttar Pradesh, said he is currently living in a rented house in Anangpur Dairy area of ​​Sarai Khwaja area. His wife Anita suffered from contractions on Sunday night. She was admitted to Badshah Khan Civil Hospital for delivery at 2 am on Sunday evening. That same night, at around 3:36 a.m., his wife gave birth to a son. He has two daughters in front of him. The elder daughter Roshni is 7 years old and the younger daughter Garima is 3 years old. Since the birth, he, his wife and his mother have been in Ramdei Hospital with the children. On Monday evening around 11 p.m., a woman came to him and said she was from the BK Hospital staff. The woman then stayed with him all night. During this time he also took the child on his lap and fed him. Then in the morning the woman asked her mother Ramdei to get her daughter-in-law’s clothes changed.

He said that during this time he himself went downstairs to wash his face. The woman was left alone with the child and took advantage of this to run away with the child. When his mother and wife returned to the bed after about 15 minutes, the child was not on the bed. They then raised the alarm that the child had been stolen, but in the meantime the woman had fled with the child. After the incident, they informed the police and the police are busy searching for the woman and her child. Meanwhile, Savita Yadav, PMO of Badshah Khan Civil Hospital, said that after the child theft incident, she called all the hospital staff on duty. A committee was formed for this purpose. Whoever is found guilty after the investigation, appropriate action will be taken against them.
