Deputy Prime Minister Dushyant Chautala arrived to inspect the flood-affected area.

Faridabad: After the rise in the water level of the Yamuna, the villages along the Yamuna have also suffered greatly in Faridabad. After the water level of the Yamuna rose, the water entered the houses and fields of the village adjacent to the Yamuna. The administration also showed speed and got the people trapped in the water out and brought them to a safe place. There they were provided with food and drink. On the other hand, Deputy Prime Minister Dushyant Chautala reached the flood-stricken villages in Faridabad district to take stock of the affected area.

Dushyant Chautala himself drove a tractor to the flood-affected Manjhavali area to find out about the condition of the people. He then visited the Mohana Baghpat Bridge and the flood affected area of Baghpat. He shared that NDRF teams are stationed in the flood-affected areas and Army teams are stationed in two locations. Our first goal is to evacuate the people trapped in the houses built on the fields due to the flood and move them to safer places. 16 villages in Faridabad and Palwal districts are affected by Yamuna river waters. The NDRF rescue operation is ongoing.

He said that flood policy is the work of small-minded people. Now is the time for everyone to work together and move forward. We will work together in mutual coordination, only then can we prevent the loss of life and property. When someone’s house, property, animal or crop was damaged, a new policy was issued three months ago. After that, the victims will be compensated as soon as possible. He instructed officials to evacuate the affected people by boat to safer locations and to take them by helicopter to where the boat couldn’t go. In addition, dry rations, food, drinking water and medicines should first be provided to the people trapped in the flood-affected area.
