Faridabad: The body of a six-year-old child, missing for two days, was found in a double bed at his uncle’s house in Bhagat Singh Colony in NIT area. The child’s hands and legs were tied and polyethylene was stuffed into his mouth. The child’s name was Shivans alias Chhotu. Police investigation revealed that the uncle had a rivalry with his brother-in-law and Shivansh’s father. To avenge this, he committed this murder.

This incident took place in Bhagat Singh Colony under NIT police station. There was excitement in the area after the body of Shivansh, who was missing since Tuesday evening, was found in a double bed in the house. According to Shivansh’s father Bhanu Pratap, his sister Babita and brother-in-law Balram live near their house. Balram is originally from Jhansi. Shivaansh suddenly disappeared. As the search began, the CCTV footage installed on the street showed Shivansh entering his uncle Balram’s house but not coming out. Since Shivansh often visited his uncle’s house, he had no suspicion. According to Bhanu Pratap, after his son’s disappearance, he contacted the police, but no trace of the child was found. The police then handed the case over to the CIA.

When the CIA team started checking every house in the area, Shivansh’s body was found in a double bed in his uncle’s house. His hands and legs were tied and polythene was stuffed into his mouth. Since the body was two days old, it began to rot. After Shivaansh’s body was found, there was chaos in the house. Shivansh’s grandmother and Balram’s mother-in-law Poonam Devi said that Balram had beaten her daughter Babita many years ago. Babita’s brother Bhanu Pratap couldn’t bear his sister’s beatings and beat Balram while saving her. According to Poonam Devi, Balram had then threatened to see his brother-in-law and Shivansh’s father Bhanu Pratap and make him cry tears of blood. Now when he got the opportunity, Balram took revenge by killing Shivansh.

Poonam Devi said that since Shivansh’s disappearance, Balram along with the rest of the family had been trying dramatically to find him. According to police, the accused Balram was arrested in Delhi. According to his information, the child’s body was recovered from the double bed in the house in Bhagat Singh Colony, Faridabad (NIT). The body was kept at the mortuary of Badshah Khan Civil Hospital for post-mortem.
