Faridabad: BJP National President Jagat Prakash Nadda formally closed the two-day regional Panchayati Raj Parishad meeting at the Rajhans Convention Center in Surajkund on Tuesday. He said that the presidents and vice-presidents of the panchayats had a lot to learn from the Panchayati Raj Council meeting, where they received Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s address, while other senior BJP leaders also told them in detail about the details of the works. He said that in the past nine years, many programs such as Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, Jal Jeevan Mission, Har Ghar Jal etc. have been started due to which people get benefits. The Panchayati Raj Council regional program is organized under the inspiration of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The way the three-tier Panchayati Raj led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi has strengthened over the past nine years is unprecedented. Under the leadership of the Prime Minister, transparency has been created in the implementation of programs using Digital India and the JAM portal. Today, through transparency, the Panchayati Raj institutions have great economic power, due to which the plans are duly implemented.
Union Agriculture Minister Narendra Tomar said India lives in the villages and the Prime Minister’s initiative to make villages strong and progressive is commendable. Because at such Panchayati Raj Parishad meetings where representatives of the Panchayats get technical and other information, they get information about their rights and how to do the work for the people. There will be progress in the villages and India will be strong. He called on all Panchayat presidents and vice-presidents to spread the policies of the prime minister-led government to the masses so that the benefits of the government’s policies reach the people who stand at the end.
