Anil Vij addressed the gathering after laying the foundation stone of the new Rs 4.62 million Maheshnagar police station building in Ambala Cantonment.

He said that the country’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi has taken up the promise of making India a developed country by 2047. According to the same resolution, we must prepare today for what our police force will look like in 2047. According to the Haryana Health Department, Haryana Police buildings such as outposts, police stations and others are being mapped. According to the population, where should a post be, where should a police station be, such arrangements are being made. If we provide the police with a better environment and modern facilities, positive results will also be achieved and the public will also benefit. He said that many years have passed since the establishment of Maheshnagar police station. Now, a police station in Maheshnagar with modern facilities is being constructed on a two-acre plot on the Ambala-Jagadhri road, which will benefit both the police and the people of the surrounding area. Earlier, construction of a Housing Board outpost near Subhash Park and BC Bazar outpost in BC Bazar has already begun. Now the police station will be constructed very soon near Hartron Building on GT Road.

In the future there will be changes in the police station area, new police stations will be built.

Home and Health Minister Anil Vij said that the area of ​​Maheshnagar and Sadar police station was quite large. In this background, there will be one police station in Maheshnagar (one) and one police station in Maheshnagar (two) and similarly in Sadar area there will be one police station in Sadar (one) and one police station in Sadar Bazar (two). A proposal was drawn up and submitted for this purpose. This system is designed so that people can do their jobs easily and police can do their jobs easily and improve law and order. This agreement will be made for the entire Haryana including new police stations as well as renovation of police posts. He said that Maheshnagar police station is being constructed by Haryana Police Housing Corporation and this police station will be ready in one and a half years. The three-storey police station will have 25 rooms where SHO room, Munshi room, separate room for women and children, canteen, canteen, cyber room and all modern facilities will be available. There will be parking and other facilities here.
