Raipur. Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai directly reached the ministry in Naya Raipur after taking oath. Shri Sai was welcomed by the officers and employees of the Ministry here. During this, both Deputy CMs Arun Sao and Vijay Sharma were also present along with Shri Sai. CM Shri Sai took charge here. After assuming charge in the ministry, the first cabinet meeting is expected to be held today itself. During this, the CM and both the Deputy CMs got introduced to the officials. After this, Chief Minister Shri Sai held discussions with secretaries and senior officials of various departments in the ministry. Chief Secretary Amitabh Jain, Additional Chief Secretary Subrata Sahu, Director General of Police Ashok Juneja, PCCF V Srinivas Rao and other officers were also present during this period. Earlier, Governor Shri Vishwa Bhushan Harichandan administered oath to Vishnudev Sai as the Chief Minister in the presence of PM Modi on the stage and in the presence of PM Modi on the stage at the Science College grounds of Chhattisgarh’s capital Raipur. After him, Lormi MLA Arun Sao was sworn in as Deputy CM by the Governor. After that the second Deputy CM Kawardha MLA Vijay Sharma took oath.
The atmosphere of the Science College seemed as if the entire Chhattisgarh had gathered to watch the oath taking ceremony. Apart from PM Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, BJP President JP Nadda, state BJP in-charge Om Mathur, co-in-charge Nitin Nabin, apart from UP CM Yogi Adityanath, Assam CM Himanta Vishwa Sarma, big leaders of many states were present on the stage. Former Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh Dr. Raman Singh and Bhupesh Baghel were sitting side by side on the stage. After the announcement of the dedication of the oath ceremony, PM Modi especially went close to Bhupesh Baghel and shook hands with him and addressed him as Baghel ji. During this, a loud noise emerged from the crowd present in front. Earlier, BJP workers from across the state had started reaching the Science College from 11 am. By 2 o’clock in the afternoon the entire pandal and the outer part of the ground were also filled to capacity. On one stage, the singers were enthusing the people present by singing one song after another.

Three stages were built for the programme. In these, the oath ceremony took place on the main stage, apart from this, there was arrangement for sitting of the present BJP MLAs on the second stage. But along with the MLAs, many former MLAs and MPs were also seen on this stage. Around quarter to four o’clock the condition of the stage became such that many senior leaders were standing and watching the ceremony.
