Ambala: Haryana Home and Health Minister Anil Vij listened to the problems of people from all parts of the state at his residence. Many complainants were from Karnal and alleged that the police did not take any action in the cases. Home Minister Anil Vij was angered by this and immediately called the DGP of Haryana and gave instructions to improve the system in Karnal. He said that he does not tolerate negligence at all and the complaints lodged by him should be dealt with under the guidance of a DSP officer.

Vij also directed the Karnal SP to answer calls on various cases and take action against police officials who delay in registering the case or taking action. The woman, who hails from Karnal, said her son was murdered a few months ago but the police have not yet arrested the accused in the case. Similarly, the person who came from Karnal said that he had complained about the assault case six times on different days and he also had the receipts for the same. The home minister called SP Karnal and sought answers on the delay in registration of the case. Also directed to take action against the officer who did not register the case. Similarly, the complainant from Karnal said that he was cheated by using false documents while buying and selling the vehicle. In this case, the police took no action despite receiving the complaint. The Home Minister also directed SP Karnal to take action in the case and also take action against those who delayed the investigation.

The complainant, who hailed from Fatehabad, lodged a complaint with Home Minister Anil Vij saying that he was cheated on land using forged documents and Rs 28 lakh was withdrawn from the bank using forged documents. The home minister directed the SP to form an SIT to investigate the matter. A little girl who came to Home Minister Anil Vij from Ambala city said that her grandmother was selling drugs at home, her family members who accompanied the girl said that they were all worried about this matter and that it had a negative impact on the girls. The Home Minister directed the concerned police station to search the spot and take strict action. A woman from Sonipat complained to the Home Minister that she was constantly being harassed by her husband and other people. She has been beaten up and a recent kidnapping attempt was made involving her husband and others. The Home Minister constituted the SIT in the matter and directed Sonipat SP to take action.
