Ambala: Police will now investigate the allegations made by Karan alias Kalu, who is accused of brutally murdering his sister. Karan had blamed INLD state spokesperson Omkar Singh for the incident. Based on this, the police have now sent a notice to Omkar Singh for questioning in the matter. However, Omkar Singh has not yet given any clarification on the notice. Karan had blamed his brother-in-law Ankur Jain along with INLD leader Omkar Singh for the incident.
Before and after the murder of sister Bhavna, accused Karan had blamed his brother-in-law Ankur and Omkar Singh for the entire incident. He had said that his brother-in-law had been harassing his sister ever since she got married. He had also asked INLD leader Omkar Singh to call him on his sister’s mobile number. Besides Omkar Singh, the police will also question husband Ankur Jain in the case.
Family members said the accused was a drug addict
On the other hand, the family members refused to talk about the role of INLD leader Omkar Singh in the case. Family members said that there are already cases registered against Karan under gun laws, betting and assault. He also went to prison. The family had thrown him out because of his drug addiction. Since then, Karan worked in the Baddi area of Himachal Pradesh. Even before Karan killed his sister, he had come to Ambala Cantonment from Baddi. His sister’s case was scheduled to be heard in court on Monday. Here he was reading the chat on his sister’s cell phone. Karan claims he also saw an SMS call from INLD leader Omkar Singh on Bhavna’s mobile phone at 7.48 p.m. Karan brutally murdered Bhavna with a sword when she returned home late on Monday evening. The investigating officer said that the process of questioning the INLD leader and Ankur Jain has begun. Notices were sent to both. The picture of the allegations will only become clear after the interrogation.
