In addition, FDA officials confiscated Syrian Arab Republic passport No. N-014621770 from Ali Tarmanani s/o Mohammad and all such medicines and items were stored in Room No. 50, 1st Floor, Tower B of Istanbul Stock Medicine Complex, Unit found no. 1124, 11th Floor, Thumb Tower, Sector-62, Noida, where the defendant currently resided.

Vij said FDA officials seized six types of drugs while in custody after Ali Tarmanani was disclosed. According to the defendant, the illegally imported cancer and diabetes medications were stored in green bags in a cabinet in Tower B, Unit #1124, 11th Floor, Thumb Tower, Sector-62, Noida. Thus, the fact clearly shows that the products that required cold storage were sold in violation of the cold storage conditions. Against this background, these drugs were confiscated in the presence of Ali Tarmanani, as these products violate the Drugs and Cosmetics Act.

With regard to the drugs seized, the Minister of Health announced that Bristol-Myers Squibb Holdings Pharma Ltd., a liability company of the Puerto Rico/USA licensee Bristol-Myers Squibb Pharmaceutical Inc., Istanbul Branch, Maslak/Sariyar/Istanbul, through Opdivo 40 mg features and Opdivo. 100 mg of the drug were confiscated. Likewise Pathen France SA 40, Bourgoin – Jalieu Sedex France, Sanofi Health Products Ltd. STI, Sisly/Istanbul Sabril 500 mg tablets were confiscated.

He said that AstraZeneca Pharmaceuticals LP Ma. Vernon/IN/ABD, Licensee Bristol-Myers Squibb Pharmaceuticals Inc., Istanbul Branch, Maslak/Sariyar/Istanbul, Sprycel 70 mg tablet was confiscated. Androcar 50mg Tablets by Bayer Turk Kimia Sun Ltd. Sti, Fatih Sultan Mehmet Mah Balkan Cad, no. 53, 24770, Umraniye/Istanbul, the licensee of Bayer Weimar GmbH & Co. KG, Industriepark Nord/Weimar/Germany, were also confiscated, he added.
