Man KiBaat: In the 98th episode of his monthly radio show Mann Ki Baat on Sunday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi mentioned the youth of Dulhedi village in Haryana who are linked to the cleanliness show. He said that the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan changed the meaning of public participation in our country. If anywhere in the country there is something to do with cleanliness, then I will definitely be informed.
The Prime Minister encouraged the youth of Dulheri village and said that these youth decided that we must set an example in Bhiwani town in terms of cleanliness. He founded an organization called Yuva Swachhata Evam Jan Seva Samiti. The youth associated with this committee reach Bhiwani at 4am. Together they carry out cleanliness campaigns at various locations in the city. So far, these people have cleared tons of garbage from different parts of the city.
Modi said in the program that if we are determined, we can make a big contribution to a clean India. He also urged compatriots to pledge to replace plastic bags with cloth bags. Prime Minister Manohar Lal watched the television broadcast of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Mann Ki Baat program in Karnal. The citizens were also present on this occasion.
It is noteworthy that three young people from the village of Dulhedi took the initiative to clean up the village three years ago. In the meantime, more than 60 young people have joined this youth team. Thanks to the efforts of the youth, the village looks neat and clean. The awareness of cleanliness has also increased among the villagers.
