Manish Sisodia Resigns: Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia and Jail Minister Satyendar Jain have resigned from their ministerial posts. Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has accepted his resignation. Both the ministers of the Delhi government are embroiled in controversies these days. The resignation of these ministers was constantly being demanded from the BJP.
Significantly, Delhi’s Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia was arrested by the CBI on Sunday. On Monday, the CBI produced Manish Sisodia in a special court, from where Sisodia was sent to police custody for five days i.e. till March 4. After this, Sisodia had turned to the Supreme Court for bail on Tuesday, but from there Sisodia was left disappointed. The Supreme Court has asked to go to the High Court in this matter. After this, Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia and Minister Satyendar Jain have resigned from their posts.

I consider it my great privilege to have had the opportunity to serve as a minister in the Government of Delhi for eight consecutive years under your leadership.
