The Enforcement Directorate team is interrogating Manish Sisodia lodged in Tihar Jail on Tuesday. According to media reports, the Enforcement Directorate team can also arrest Manish Sisodia, which means that even if Sisodia gets relief in the cases registered by the CBI, he will still have to remain in the clutches of the ED.

Delhi’s Rouse Avenue Court on Monday ordered former Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia to be sent to Tihar Jail. In the Excise Policy of Delhi, many arrests have already been made. The Enforcement Directorate has started questioning Sisodia by showing the statements of the witnesses in the case.

During the investigation of the scam in Delhi’s Excise Policy, the name of a South Group also came to the fore. There were allegations on this South group that this group has paid an amount of Rs.100 crores to the leaders of Aam Aadmi Party. Also, it was revealed in the investigation that this South group included YSRCP MP Magunta Srinivasulu Reddy and his son Magunta Raghava Reddy and Bharat Rashtra Samithi MLC Kavitha.

Also, the work of all these leaders was being supervised by Arun Ramachandra Pillai. Apart from this, the names of Abhishek Bonpalli, CA Buchibabu Gorantla and P Sharad Chandra Reddy also surfaced from the group. Delhi’s Rouse Avenue Court granted bail to Buchibabu Gorantla, former CA of KCR’s daughter Kavita.
