Delhi Crime Branch has got a big success. The Economic Offenses Wing has arrested a person who cheated in the name of investment in the film industry. The accused Pramod Nagar has been arrested from Greater Noida. Along with his associates, he is accused of duping crores by launching fake trailers of films and trapping people in his trap. In the investigation so far, it is estimated that 47 people were cheated of about three and a half crores.

According to media reports, DCP Vikram K. Porwal (DCP Vikram K. porwal) said that through Swag Production Pvt Ltd, the accused had lured investors by promising them good returns. Some installments of the investments people had made were returned on time but later the payments were stopped. To mislead the victims, the company had also launched a fake trailer of a film at Siri Fort Auditorium and Nehru Stadium. A complaint of cheating was given by 33 people at Sarita Vihar police station. After preliminary investigation, the case was transferred to the Economic Offenses Wing. Police investigation revealed that his company is not registered with RBI as NBFC for launching any film or other such schemes.
The said company Swag Production Private Limited was formed by the accused persons namely Udit Oberoi, Subhash Nagar, Pramod Nagar Jr. and Pramod Nagar Sr. to cheat the public and siphon off their hard earned money. The accused had promised the public on their investment that their investment would be doubled within about 11 months. Three accused persons namely Udit Oberoi, Pramod Nagar and Subhash Nagar have already been arrested in this case. The current accused Pramod Nagar Jr. who was evading arrest has now been arrested from Greater Noida on May 18. Accused Pramod is a BCA degree holder from Dr BR Ambedkar University, Agra UP. He worked as a property consultant in Noida and later joined the said company Swag Production Pvt Ltd. The accused is a resident of Ghaziabad.
