New Delhi: The police has solved the murder case of an elderly couple in Delhi’s Gokulpuri area within a few hours. The real culprit of the murder turned out to be the same daughter-in-law of the deceased couple who was in worst condition after the murder. Police investigation revealed that along with daughter-in-law Monica, one of her lovers was also involved in the incident. Along with this, the police also revealed that during the Corona period, when the whole world was trying to create social distance. The accused daughter-in-law was increasing closeness with the young man who was involved in the incident on Facebook. Her aim was also to kill her husband further. Both the accused had a plan to settle in Dwarka by selling property worth about 1.5 crores.

DCP Joy Tirkey told that this was revealed in the interrogation of Monica. She was unhappy with her married life for a long time. She had an extra-marital affair with Ashish, who lives in Ghaziabad. Her husband Ravi and mother-in-law came to know about this affair. Because of which there used to be frequent quarrels between the two. Father-in-law Radheshyam and mother-in-law Veena used to scold Monika on small things. Mother-in-law Veena was keeping a close watch on daughter-in-law. In such a situation, Monica felt suffocated inside the house. Monika Singh has done her graduation from Delhi University. She had worked in a call center in Noida. She got married to Ravi in ​​2016. Ravi completed his graduation from Open University before pursuing B.Ed from a private university. He was running a general store near Johripur. Prior to this he has worked as a guest teacher in a government school. They have a five year old son. After marriage, Monica left the job and settled in the household.

Before and after this incident, Ashish was in constant contact with Monica over the phone. Now the police is looking for Ashish and his friend in this case.
