On Saturday, Women and Child Development Minister Atishi reprimanded the officials of the department for finding deficiencies in Child Care Institute of Lajpat Nagar, Delhi. Delhi government is running 25 child care institutions

At present there are 25 Child Care Institutions being run by the Government of Delhi, in which 16 Children Homes for children of 6 to 18 years, SAA for children of 0 to 6 years, 3 Observation Homes, 1 Special Home, 2 Place of Safety and Includes 2 after care homes.
