Crime News: The Dwarka district police in the capital Delhi was seen in action mode early this morning on persons belonging to criminal gangs. The Delhi Police on Wednesday raided more than 20 locations in Delhi and Haryana, including gangsters and their associates sitting abroad.
Delhi Police said that the police recovered cash, weapons and other illegal material in early morning raids at the hideouts of members of a criminal gang. Raids are being conducted by Dwarka District Police in Delhi and Sonepat and Jhajjar in Haryana. According to information received from media reports, the Dwarka District Police is conducting early morning raids and searches at more than 20 places in Delhi and Haryana on persons belonging to a criminal gang. Weapons, cash and illegal substances have been recovered from various places and some people have been detained. Further details are awaited.
DCP Dwarka M Harshvardhan said in an official statement on this whole matter that the Dwarka Police has raided the hideouts of gangsters and their associates sitting abroad. Raids have been conducted at some places in Delhi including Sonipat and Jhajjar. About 20 lakh have been recovered from one place in Delhi. Apart from this, weapons have been recovered from Jhajjar and other places in Haryana. Search operation is on. Delhi Police is collecting details of seizures from other states.
