New Delhi: Holi of blood was played at five places in the national capital Delhi on Holi. At some places, six people were killed by stabbing and at other places by shooting. Two people were killed in a violent clash between factory workers at Friends Enclave in Mundka area. While seven were injured. Apart from this, one person lost his life in firing in Fatehpur Beri area. A person was also killed in Mehrauli. In Punjabi Bagh and Farsh Bazar, two people were beaten to death and their heads were crushed with bricks.
According to Harendra Singh, DCP of outer district, three PCR calls were received between 1.30 and 2.45 pm regarding the matter. Police reached Friends Enclave, Gali No-7, D-15, Mundka. It was learned that the quarrel took place between Sonu and Abhishek, who lives in street number 14. Abhishek and his friends attack the people who came to the rescue along with Sonu. The seven injured were rushed to a nearby hospital, where Sonu and Naveen succumbed to their injuries. At the same time, Abhishek and another injured youth have been referred to Safdarjung Hospital. The condition of three people is stable. Police investigation revealed that all of them work in a namkeen factory in Mundka.
On the other hand, about five rounds of firing took place in Fatehpur Beri area. In this, a person named Surendra died due to bullet injury. After this incident, the police force had to be deployed in the area. A CCTV footage of the incident has also surfaced, in which two bikes are seen speeding. The possibility of firing has been expressed by any of these.
According to the police, there was a report of firing at Baba Mohalla, Balak Chowk, Aya Nagar at 8 pm. Later Surendra died of bullet injuries. The deceased used to run a grocery store near his house. It is alleged that a person named Bittu has carried out the incident. According to the family of the deceased, Surendra’s other brother was shot 12 years ago. Surendra was saved at that time. The police had sent one of the accused to jail in the case, but he came out of jail four months ago and carried out the crime as soon as he got a chance. Along with this, the family also says that three days back also the accused had attacked with sticks. A complaint was made to the police, but no action was taken by the police.
The third incident came to light from ward number three in Mehrauli at 1.30 pm. Brijesh Kumar was originally from Bihar. Siddharth, who witnessed the incident, told that he had gone to a nearby shop to buy shampoo. There he had a fight with a young man. After this he came to Brijesh. The young man with whom there was a quarrel reached his room with some of his companions and Brijesh, Siddharth and Shubham were severely beaten up. During this, an iron rod hit Brijesh’s head, after which he died. Five people, including three minors, have been arrested by the police in the case. The names of the two adult accused are Amit and Narendra. Both are 18 years old.
CNG pump salesman was murdered in Punjabi Bagh. He had a fight with some boys living in the slum. The name of the deceased is Vikas Chandra. Two accused Karan and Arjun have been arrested in this case. DCP West Ghanshyam Bansal said that around 4:45 pm on Wednesday, police had received information from Maharaja Agrasen Hospital that a person had been brought dead. He was a resident of Daulatpur, Delhi. During interrogation, the police came to know that the deceased Vikas used to work as a salesman at the CNG pump. Around 4:00 p.m. the deceased had gone to a nearby shop to buy some articles. During this, both the accused had beaten him fiercely.
40-year-old Mohit was killed by crushing his head and face with brick and stone in Farsh Bazar area of Shahdara on Wednesday morning. He used to work as a helper in the bus. He was found lying in a pool of blood near the bus he used to clean. Doctors declared him brought dead on being taken to the hospital. DCP Rohit Meena says that the accused has been identified by registering a murder case. Raids are being conducted for the arrest.
