Everyday new twists are coming in the matter of Delhi’s excise policy. The former Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi was arrested on 26 February. After which he has been sent to Tihar Jail. After this, the AAP party has threatened the life of its leader Manish Sisodia. After this, the statement of senior officials of Tihar Jail has come that all these allegations are baseless. Adequate arrangements have been made for his security.
What Tihar Jail officials said
Tihar Jail officials said that keeping in mind the security of Manish Sisodia, a separate ward has been assigned to him. Along with this said that Sisodia has been kept in CJ-1 ward. There are least number of prisoners around his ward. Also said that there are prisoners near Sisodia’s ward inside the jail who are not gangsters.
Sisodia has been given a ward where he can easily do Vipassana and read the Gita. Further, the officials said that elaborate security arrangements have been made outside their barracks.
