AAP leader Sanjay Singh sent defamation notice to ED, said- Apologize to me

AAP leader Sanjay Singh sent defamation notice to ED.

AAP leader Sanjay Singh sent defamation notice to ED.

Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MP Sanjay Singh has sent a defamation notice to the Enforcement Directorate (ED) officials on Saturday. Sanjay Singh has sent this notice to ED director Sanjay Kumar Mishra and Jogender, the officer probing the Delhi Liquor Scam case. Sanjay Singh has claimed that ED has falsely named me in the charge sheet of the liquor scam case. None of the witnesses have taken my name, yet I have been linked to this case. He said that the Enforcement Directorate has put my name in its charge sheet as part of a conspiracy to defame me. There is neither any evidence nor any witness against me.

ED should apologize within 48 hours- Sanjay Singh

According to media reports, Sanjay Singh has asked the ED officials to apologize within 48 hours. He said if he does not apologise, he will take legal action. Please inform that Sanjay Singh had said on Thursday itself that my name has been included in the charge sheet of the Delhi liquor scam case in a fake manner. He had said that he would file a criminal defamation case against ED officials.

‘ED is misleading the court by presenting wrong evidence’

It is worth mentioning that in this matter yesterday i.e. on Friday, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal also attacked the ED. The CM had said that the ED is torturing him to implicate AAP leaders. People associated with Aam Aadmi Party are being pressurized to make false statements against the leaders. Regarding Sanjay Singh, CM said that the person on the basis of whose statement ED has filed the name of Sanjay Singh in its charge sheet, that person had not made any such allegations against Sanjay, as mentioned by ED in the charge sheet. The CM said that the ED said in its charge sheet that Manish Sisodia broke the phones, while his phones were confiscated by the ED. ED is trying to mislead the court by presenting wrong evidence.
