Uttarkashi Silkyara Tunnel Rescue Operation Successful.
Uttarakhand Tunnel Rescue: Rescue operation in Uttarakhand tunnel has been completed. After much effort, 41 laborers trapped under the debris were pulled out. Ambulances were already deployed outside the tunnel, so that everyone could be provided better treatment facilities. Now, after 17 days of hard work and facing many difficulties, all the 14 laborers were evacuated safely on Tuesday.
When and how did the rescue operation last 17 days?
November 12- A portion 60 meters inside the tunnel collapsed.
November 13- 14 meter debris fell on the empty space.
14 November- Drilling work started.
November 15- American Auger drilling machine arrived.
November 16- Drilling done up to 8-9 meters.
November 17- Drilling stopped at 21-22 meters due to rock.
November 18- Work started simultaneously on 5 plans with horizontal drilling.
19 November- NDRF, SDRF, BRO took charge.
November 20- Tunneling experts came from abroad, vertical drilling started.
November 21- Endoscopy camera reached the tunnel, the first video of the workers came.
November 22- Drilling stopped due to rebar coming in the way of the auger machine.
November 23- Boring stopped due to cracks in the drilling platform.
24 November- The rescue team reached close to the workers.
November 25- Blade of US auger machine broke, operation stopped.
November 26- Vertical drilling started along with horizontal.
November 27- Water came out from the ground, manual vertical drilling started, steel capsule made.
November 28- Rescue agencies reached the workers, everyone was taken out safely and taken to the hospital for treatment.

Let us inform that NDRF, SDRF, Indian Army, other state and central agencies were deployed at the site in the rescue operation of 41 laborers trapped in the Silkyara tunnel. 41 laborers trapped in the tunnel for the last 17 days were rescued safely on Tuesday.
