New Delhi. The 9th match of IPL 2024 will be held between Delhi Capitals and Rajasthan Royals in Jaipur. Both the teams had a completely different start in this season of the league. While Rajasthan Royals showed a strong performance against Lucknow Super Giants in the first match, Delhi was easily defeated by Punjab Kings in the first match.
In the match between Rajasthan and Delhi Capitals, there will be a battle between two wicketkeepers Rishabh Pant and Sanju Samson and everyone’s eyes will be on these two players in the match. Both are the captains of their respective teams. Delhi will have to overcome the hangover of Pant’s return and focus completely on the game.

Rajasthan Royals’ strategy of sending Riyan Parag to bat at number 4 was effective. Parag had scored 43 runs in 29 balls in the first match. Parag can play at this number against Delhi also. Rajasthan team is also choosing its impact players wisely. Nandre Berger got a chance against Lucknow.
Enrique Norkhia is back in the team for Delhi, who could not play the first match of the season. The fast bowler may come straight back into the team after Delhi’s experiment with 4 foreign batsmen failed in Mullanpur. If Norkhia comes into the playing-11 then either Shai Hope or Stubbs will have to sit out. Ishant Sharma has also recovered from injury and can play against Rajasthan.
