Leaders’ Holi: Tej Pratap plays flute as Krishna, Rajnath Singh dances with foreign guests

Holi was celebrated across the country on Wednesday. Top political leaders of the country also participated in this festival of colours. Union Defense Minister Rajnath Singh organized Holi celebrations at his official residence, which was also attended by US Commerce Secretary Gina Raimondo. The dance video of Rajnath Singh and Gina Raimondo is becoming quite viral on social media. Union Minister Kiren Rijiju and Union External Affairs Minister Dr. S Jaishankar also joined the Holi celebrations at Rajnath Singh’s residence.

Bihar minister Tej Pratap Yadav celebrated traditional Lathmar Holi at his residence in Patna. A video from the celebration of the festival shows Tej Pratap dressed as Lord Krishna.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also played Holi in the Lord Narasimha Shobhayatra. Holi is celebrated in a big way in the state and wishing people on the occasion, the CM tweeted, “May Holi, a symbol of love, enthusiasm and fraternity, fill your life with various colors of happiness, prosperity and new enthusiasm.”

In Madhya Pradesh, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan fully participated in the festivities and also sang Phag while celebrating Holi at his residence in Bhopal.

Earlier today, Prime Minister Narendra Modi greeted people on the occasion of Holi. PM Modi tweeted, wishing you all a very happy and colorful Holi! May your life always be filled with colors of joy and enthusiasm.
