A strange case has come to light from Haridwar in Uttarakhand. A girl named Bhavna, who works in Sidcul here, has sought permission from the Nainital High Court to offer Namaz. Along with this, he has also demanded security for himself. Bhavna is a resident of Madhya Pradesh and she wants to offer Namaz at Kaliyar Sharif, Haridwar.

He sought protection from the Nainital High Court

According to media reports, 22-year-old Bhavna of Madhya Pradesh works in a private company in Sidkul, Haridwar, Uttarakhand. Along with him, a young man named Farman also works in the same company. Bhavna had filed a petition in the Uttarakhand High Court saying that she wanted to offer Namaz at Kaliyar Sharif Dargah in Roorkee, Haridwar. At the same time, she said that she along with her colleague Farman wants to offer Namaz there, but some organizations oppose her. It is a matter of his religious freedom. For this, he has also demanded protection from the court. A division bench of Nainital High Court’s senior judge Manoj Tiwari and judge Pankaj Purohit heard the case. The Nainital High Court directed to provide security to the girl.

Next hearing will be on May 22

The court asked him that before he goes to offer Namaz, he should give an application to the concerned police station. During the hearing, the court asked the petitioner that you have not changed your religion and why do you want to offer Namaz there. On the question of the court, the petitioner said that she is impressed by the decree of her colleague, so she wants to offer Namaz there. He has neither married her nor has he changed his religion. She is a follower of Hindu religion and wants to worship in Kaliyar Sharif without any fear or pressure. The court has fixed the next hearing on May 22.
