According to the National Center for Seismology, the intensity of the earthquake was measured at 2.6 on the Richter scale. And the depth of this earthquake was recorded at 5 km. However, there was no information about any kind of loss of life in the earthquake. Uttarkashi, Pithoragarh, Chamoli and Bageshwar are the districts of Uttarakhand, where earthquake tremors are mostly felt.
In the past one year, people in Uttarkashi have felt tremors of earthquake several times. At the same time, earthquake tremors were also felt in the hill state of Ladakh on Wednesday. The intensity of the earthquake that occurred around 7 pm was measured at 3.5. Here too there was no news of any damage.
On the other hand, on March 21 last month, many districts of Uttarakhand such as Chamoli, Dehradun, Mussoorie, Uttarkashi, Roorkee and Haridwar were shaken by strong earthquakes.
