Earthquake shook the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir on Sunday. Earthquake tremors were felt in Jammu and Kashmir at 5.15 am. According to the National Center for Seismology, the intensity of this earthquake was measured at 4.1 on the Richter scale. The epicenter of this earthquake was 5 km below the ground. When the earthquake struck, people were sleeping in their homes, only then all the people came out of their homes. After the earthquake in Jammu and Kashmir, there was an atmosphere of chaos, although no damage has been reported.

The tremors of this earthquake were felt in Kishtwar and Doda districts of Jammu and Kashmir. There was no news of any kind of damage in it.

India’s earthquake zone divided into five parts

These include parts of Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, the Rann of Kutch in Gujarat, parts of north Bihar and the Andaman and Nicobar Islands. Most earthquakes are felt in these areas.
