Yamuna Expressway Accident: A major and painful accident took place on Yamuna Expressway in Greater Noida on Saturday morning. Here, 25 kilometers from zero point, a speeding vehicle hit a van from behind. After this, the van went out of control and overturned, due to which five people of the same family traveling in the van lost their lives. At the same time, three people were seriously injured. The injured have been admitted to the hospital for treatment. All these people were going from Delhi to Jharkhand.

Police gave information on the matter

Giving information on the matter, the police said that at around 1 am in the night on Yamuna Expressway, in the area under Rabupura police station, at a distance of 25 kilometers from the zero point from Noida towards Jewar, an eco van number DL 3 CC 7136 was speeding at an unknown speed. The vehicle hit hard from behind. Due to the collision, the driver of the van lost control over it. There were a total of 8 people on board, out of which 5 died on the spot and 3 were injured. The police have taken the bodies of the deceased in their custody and sent them for postmortem and the injured people have been admitted to Kailash Hospital in Jewar for treatment.

Identification of people killed in the accident

The deceased in this accident have been identified as Upendra Baitha, Bijendra Baitha, Kanti Devi, Kuv Jyoti and Suresh. Meanwhile, the injured include Suraj, Ayush and Aryan. The car riders had left in an eco car from Delhi for Jharkhand via Yamuna Expressway on Saturday morning. Police have registered a case to investigate the accident that took place on Yamuna Expressway and are busy searching for the accused.
