Lucknow: CM Yogi said – Encephalitis has been eradicated, described Anganwadi workers like Mother Yashoda.

CM Yogi in Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath today inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of 1,359 Anganwadi centers built at a cost of Rs 155 crore and 171 child development project offices built at a cost of Rs 50 crore under National Nutrition Month in Lucknow. Apart from this, CM Yogi transferred an amount of Rs 29 crore through DBT.

On this occasion, CM Yogi Adityanath said that National Nutrition Month is being celebrated. Nearly 50,000 children were suffering from encephalitis in Uttar Pradesh from 1977-2017. Due to the efforts of the government, these cases have reduced since 2018. He said that at present the situation today is that with the help of intra-departmental convergence, encephalitis has been completely eliminated from Uttar Pradesh. He said that encephalitis was not just a disease but there were many other issues associated with it. Children are the future of our country. We have achieved success in protecting the future of the country.

Anganwadi workers described as Mother Yashoda

CM Yogi described Anganwadi workers as Mother Yashoda. He said that Anganwadi workers also nurture children like mother Yashoda. He said that this is the sixth anniversary of Nutrition Month. By mutual coordination, we have to keep our children healthy in the future also.
