The NIA court has sentenced the terrorists Atif Muzaffar and Mohammad Faisal to death for the murder of retired principal Ramesh Babu Shukla in Kanpur. Both the terrorists are associates of ISIS terrorist Saifullah, who was killed in Thakurganj area of Lucknow. Saifullah was killed in an encounter in March 2017. Now both his associates have also been sentenced to death and a fine of Rs 5 lakh has also been imposed.

This dreadful incident was carried out when Ramesh Babu Shukla was returning home on a bicycle after teaching at Swami Atma Prakash Brahmachari Junior High School, Madarpur, when on the way the terrorists fired three bullets at him, out of which two bullets misfired. , but the third bullet hit the teacher’s back and he died on the spot. The teacher was targeted because he was wearing a tilak on his forehead and Kalava in his hand. The police had registered a complaint in this murder case and started searching for the accused. The police had killed terrorist Saifullah in an encounter, while arrested the other two terrorists. After this, the responsibility of investigating this case was handed over to NIA. Now NIA, while giving its verdict in the case, has awarded death sentence to both the terrorists.
